Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur is the organising institute for JEE Advanced 2025. The exam is the gateway for admission to undergraduate programs (B.Tech, B.Arch, Integrated M.Tech, B.Sc) at all 23 IITs.

- Top 2,50,000 candidates in JEE Main 2025 (Paper 1) by category
- Born on or after 1 October 2000 (5-year relaxation for SC/ST/PwD)
- Maximum 2 attempts in consecutive years

JoSAA Round 1 seat allotment for JEE Advanced 2025 qualifiers released at josaa.nic.in. Report/withdraw by 25 June 2025.
JoSAA Round 1 seat allotment result for JEE Advanced 2025 has been released on the official JoSAA portal. Candidates who registered for JoSAA counselling can check their seat allotment by logging in.

- Click on 'View Seat Allotment Status'
- Download the allotment letter
Next Steps
- If allotted a seat — pay the seat acceptance fee (Rs. 35,000 for GEN/EWS/OBC, Rs. 15,000 for SC/ST/PwD/Gen-PwD) and upload documents.
- If not satisfied with the allotted seat — choose 'Float' or 'Withdraw' option.
- Round 2 seat allotment will be released on 25 June 2025.
